Biodiversity & Business Sustainability

Biodiversity is no longer just a concept of the variety of animals and plants in the wild, but now recognized as a crucial indicator of global health. Unfortunately, the current rate of biodiversity loss is estimated to be 100 to 1000 times higher than the normal extinction rate, and this rate is increasing. It's crucial for individuals and businesses to address their knowledge gaps and understand the importance of biodiversity, as around half of the global GDP, equivalent to $44 trillion, is highly or moderately dependent on nature. To correct the current path, it's not enough to focus on saving individual species, but we must protect, enhance and restore all biodiversity and their environments in order for human society to thrive.
